Our client is a multinational company, who is looking for a Product Specialist to join them.

Short description

As a Product Specialist, your main duty will be to manage the company's household device or display product groups by collecting data from the target market field to set up short and long term product strategy.You will work closely with the Line Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Sales Colleagues and staff of other departments too. It is expected to develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the portfolio and to produce an accurate demand planning and manage the entire product life-cycle to drive results. Next to achieve the weekly-, monthly-, quarterly and yearly sales, profit and KPI (SCM, M/S, etc.) targets, you will also need to coordinate and follow-up sales activities, track results, provide reports and prepare prenetations.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Based on HQ’s directions adopt local short and long term product strategies for the targeted groups;
  • Manage pricing;
  • Coordinate and track sales activities and marketing campaigns/promotions for the given product categories and channels in order to meet given sales and revenue targets;
  • Hold responsibility on product groups’ P&L;
  • Manage product life cycle and launch new products;
  • Define stategies and retail implementation;
  • Weekly forecast of product demand by model;
  • Analyse and estimate the market trends in order to forecast the company's sales that are in line with the given targets;
  • Analise the competitors' marketing activities in order to enhance competitiveness;
  • Manage regular reporting and prepare materials of presentations.

Required competencies

  • University degree;
  • 2-5 years work experience in the field of Product Management;
  • Good command of Hungarian and English
  • MS Office proficiency, mainly in Excel
  • Analytical way of thinking, strategic and proactive attitude
  • Organised way of working, ability to handle own projects and tasks.
  • Strong time management and administrative skills.

Desirable competencies

  • Budget management;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Presentation skils;
  • Winning mindset with good team spirit.
