Overview

The Salesforce Administrator position will be responsible for key activities on Quest’s Salesforce.com instance, including Salesforce system administration, system configuration (especially around customization of objects), user role and profile setup, permission sets, fields, record types, page layouts, list views, reports and dashboards.

This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform. The successful candidate must be proactive, possess strong analytical skills, and will work closely with functional leaders from Quest’s business.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as system administrator for Quest’s 1500 user Salesforce.com environment
  • Handle administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other tasks
  • Expanding or refining sharing rules and access privileges so records can be properly viewed and manipulated
  • Research changes in upcoming releases of Salesforce.com and other integrated applications
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
  • Contribute technical expertise to business projects and create solutions to meet challenges including performing detailed analysis of technical and business requirements
  • Assist in training of new users, growing the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
  • Drive increased user adoption and ensure user satisfaction
  • Provide documentation and deliver training where applicable

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Administrator Certification (201) preferred
  • Ability to analyze and understand existing SFDC processes and assessing the impact of new requirements on SFDC and all upstream/downstream applications
  • Strong experience in lightning, workflows (Flow, Process Builder, etc), approval flows and email templates
  • Well versed in sandbox best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, etc.
  • Ability to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Solid communication skills, including excellent written and oral communication at all levels of the organization
  • JIRA and agile development understanding important
  • Copado and Prodly Moover knowledge a strong plus
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
  • Ability to manage laterally and upwards in a constantly changing environment
